Amelia Jasmine Satterley arrived on 6th April 2010 weighing in at a healthy 7lb 9oz. She is the most adorable little girl in the world and she was definately worth the horrid time I had giving birth to her!
Without going into too many details it was a very long and painful 2 days ending in a lot of lost blood and a trip to surgery for a repair. Luckily no C section was required but it is not an experience I am wanting to repeat!!!! I did have to return to hospital 24 hours after being discharged for a blood transfusion but I am slowly on the mend and getting used to being a Mummy!
Russ was a complete star and even the midwives sung his praises in all the labour notes - he manages to charm everyone he meets bless him.
We have been very good and we are taking a photo a day (well more than one!!) to see how she changes and they really change quickly this young.
Off to have shower before she needs a feed.
